Merchandise is sold by Kielder Observatory Services Ltd (KOSL) – Company No 9294853, Registered in England and Wales

KOSL is a wholly-owned subsidiary of KOAS. Profits from merchandise sales are donated by KOSL to further the charitable work of KOAS

When you’re checking out and click “I’ve read and accept the terms & conditions”, you are agreeing to:

• Proceed to make a payment via our merchant service provider PayPa (all payment card details are handled by PayPal; Kielder Observatory can however access the last four digits of your payment card to help us identify transactions)
• Adhere to our Refund Policy
• Allow Kielder Observatory to use your data to:
  • Provide you with booking or order confirmation forms or respond to information you have asked for
  • Contact you if there are any important changes to your booking or order
  • Administer your booking, order or donation, including processing Gift Aid

Courses and Memberships

When purchasing courses or memberships please follow the guidelines with regards to suitability

Memberships are valid for an undisclosed period of time are non-refundable are non-transferable, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional discount or special offer. Courses are available for an undisclosed period of time, purchase is for the course content online only. Courses are non-refundable and non-transferable. KOAS has the right to remove any purchased content within this website where prior notice of 28 days if given.

Kielder Observatory reserves the right to cancel and reschedule live events. Details of the programme may change from time to time.

Kielder Observatory reserves the right to refuse membership or course admission in scenarios where a person, or persons may be at risk or unsuitable for our content.

Purchases, refunds and cancellations

Once your purchase has been processed you will receive an email confirmation to the email address you specified. It is your responsibility to check, prior to purchase, that the information you have supplied to us is accurate. We are only responsible for issuing access to our content in accordance with the information you provide. Payments for access to content are non-refundable, save where content is removed by the observatory prior to initial access. Kielder Observatory reserves the right to cancel access and refunds will be given in this instance if content has been removed. Access is only valid for the membership level, or course you have subscribed to.

Save in respect of liability which cannot be limited by law, our liability to you pursuant to this access is limited to the face value of the membership or course purchased.

These access terms and conditions are governed by English law and subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Course / Membership Access and Usage

Access to courses or memberships purchased is unique to your user account. Your user account is limited to your personal use and this must not be shared with any other individual or organisation. Access is granted for an undisclosed time period and may be revoked in the following conditions;

• Abuse of system usage,
• Suspected Plagiarism,
• Attempted data breach,
• Removal of course membership or content (with min 28 days prior notice via email to registered email account)
• Inactivity for 24 months

Usage must not be shared or used, copied or plagiarised by any individual or organisation. Kielder.Space and the contents within are the sole property of KOAS (Kielder Observatory Astronomical Society) Registered Charity 1153570. Any breach of these conditions will result in action taken against you.
