Welcome to our short course in “Shooting Stars”. In this module, we will be covering questions such as, What is a Shooting Star? What Impact do the have on our Planet? What are they made of? Where do they come from? How do we identify them here on Earth? We’re going to explore together what makes this phenomena one of the most incredible subjects in Astronomy.

Throughout this module, you will learn small amounts about the formation and make up of our solar system. We will also be looking at what stars are, and their function in our Universe.

By the end of this module, you will have understood some basics in Planetary Sciences, some Astrophysics, and Geology.
