Welcome! We appreciate you giving up your time to come and volunteer here at Kielder Observatory. As part of your induction, you will have been enrolled onto this training course. It covers a range of useful information which as a volunteer will be helpful in understanding your role, and how our organisation functions. We will cover basics about us, then move on to the function of your role and how to claim your expenses, before looking at some further learning which can help you progress as a volunteer. 

We appreciate some of our volunteers will come infrequently and would prefer not to get heavily involved in some of the observatory delivery, in which case please feel free to skip those sections and complete only the basic functions and introduction modules.
